Rev. Dr. Lowell Green (-)


Dr. Lowell Green earned his B.A. from Wartburg College, Waverly, IA, and his B.D. from Wartburg Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa. He earned a D.Theol. in Systematic Theology and Church History in 1955 from Friedrich & Alexander University, Erlangen, Germany. He is the author of five books and over 70 articles, many dealing with Reformation-era church history. He has served as a Visiting Professor at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He was also the Assistant to the President of the Eastern District (LCMS), 1988-89. He has been an Adjunct Professor of History, State University of New York, Buffalo, since 1991. He is an accomplished organist and choir director, currently serving at Calvary Lutheran Church, Amherst, New York.
