- 1 -Apologetic BibliographyBy Ross Johnson 2-17-02Introduction:This resource list has been developed to give the reader an up to date listing ofthe best apologetic books available. The topics covered are general cults, specific cult groups, general world religions, specific world religions, philosophicalapologetical topics, and ethics. This bibliography is merely an entry into the literary world of apologetics. In mostcases this bibliography is limited to books published after 1980. Since theargumentation of the skeptics and cultists are constantly changing, it isimperative to give the best critiques and responses that are relevant to theongoing debates. Also the most current material gives the most accurateinformation about the growth and trends of religious groups. It should be noted that all these authors are Christians but not all of the booksare without theological error nor are they necessarily confessionally Lutheran inevery aspect. Both leading evangelical scholars and Lutherans wrote thesuggested material. However, the main intention of this material is not tonecessarily explain particular theological viewpoints but to rather critique thecults, occults, skeptics, aberrant theology, and world religions. All of the topics are arranged by their level of difficulty. The introductory level isfor any Christian who wants to learn more about a particular group. Theintermediate level is at the university level, and the advanced is for scholars orgraduate students who want in-depth knowledge on a particular area. As well, the most important books on the particular topics are in bold type. Additionally, the total number of pages of each book is typed at the end of eachbibliographical entry.- 2 -Table of ContentsMultiple Christian Cults Page 3Multiple World Religions Page 4Multiple Apologetical Topics Page 4New Age Movement Page 6Mormonism Page 7Jehovahs Witnesses Page 9Oneness Pentecostals Page 9Masons Page 9Faith Movement Page 103rd Wave/Holy Laugher Movement Page 10End Times Madness Page 11Occultism Page 11Roman Catholicism Page 12Islam Page 14Hinduism Page 14Philosophy Page 15Atheism Page 15Postmodernism Page 15Religious Pluralism Page 16Creation and Intelligent Design Page 16Bioethics Page 17Homosexuality Page 18Abortion Page 19Trinity Page 19Christology Page 20Bible Page 20Critiquing Dispensationalism Page 21Resurrection of Christ Page 22Foreknowledge Debate Page 23Miracles Page 23- 3 -Multiple Christian CultsIntroductory LevelAbanes, Richard.
