Sermon Text:

Philippians 1:1-5

Greeting

1:1 Paul and Timothy, servants [1] of Christ Jesus,

To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers [2] and deacons: [3]

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.

Philippians 2:5-8

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, [4] who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, [5] being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (ESV)
